The CB-16 is equipped with three Honeycool evaporative media pads which can soak up water like a sponge. The resin-covered hexagonal shapes of the honeycomb allow the air to pass through which results in evaporation, which then turns into a refreshing gust of cold air, delivering more tolerable and much fresher surroundings, especially during hot summer months. Cool Boss was built to last, so that’s why they designed it with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) housing which provides outstanding damage protection and resistance to sunlight and UV rays.

CB-16 runs on standard 110V household power and is equipped with a strong 1/3 HP motor which circulates the air through a very capable 16” diameter Blue Flex fan. The proprietary axial-flow design of the fan pulls a greater amount of air at idle than traditional fan blade types. Once the rpm’s start increasing, the fan blades slightly change shape. It’s hardly noticeable but makes it so the CB-16 is able to deliver the most effective, cost-saving performance. The convenient fan-speeds will let you be able to precisely deliver just how much cold air you’d like to fill up your workspace.

With its gigantic 60-gallon cold-water reservoir, the portable CB-16 provides an almost non-stop supply of chilled air without the need to be constantly refilling the tank. The airflow is directed through a venture fan cone which concentrates the air velocity as it passes through, creating a more powerful, directional blast of cool air.
